Arrhythmia Research and Training Society (ARTS) in association with KIMS Hospitals organized a one-day Arrhythmia symposium at KIMS Hospital, Minister Road. This educative symposium was attended by 350 cardiologists, physicians, and fellows from AP and Telangana. The faculty included distinguished electrophysiologists from all over the country. The Course Director, Dr B.Hygriv Rao, Chief of the Electrophysiology and Pacing Division, KIMS Hospitals, and President of ART Society said that the main objective of this meeting was to highlight the importance of ECG in clinical decision-making of various cardiac disorders. ECG is a simple and inexpensive tool and physicians and cardiologists need to master accurate reading of ECG and use it to make effective decisions for treatment.
Dr. Abhinay, CEO of KIMS Hospitals Group, inaugurated the symposium. He stated that having electrophysiologists in the cardiology department significantly improved patient care standards. He also mentioned that young physicians and cardiologists attending such symposiums have ample opportunities to learn from the experiences of heart rhythm experts nationwide.
