Vietjet wins three prestigious workplace recognitions in India, strengthening its worldwide presence

Posted on February 26, 2026

Vietjet has been honored with three prestigious international accolades, including “Global Best Place to Work in 2026,” “Diversity Impact Award,” and “Global Best Employer Brand,” at the World HRD Congress & Awards 2026 in Mumbai, India.

This marks the first time Vietjet has been recognised as a “Global Best Place to Work” by the World HRD Congress. The awards highlight the airline’s strong focus on talent development, diversity, and building a workplace culture that meets international standards. They also reflect Vietjet’s commitment to placing people at the centre of its long-term growth and ESG strategy.

Vietjet currently employs more than 9,000 people, including over 1,000 international employees from 68 countries and territories. This diverse workforce represents the airline’s open and inclusive culture, as well as its ambition to operate as a truly global carrier. The airline’s human resources strategy is built on equal opportunity, respect for diversity, and inclusive growth across all areas of its operations — from flight operations and engineering to customer service and corporate functions. Employees are encouraged to grow based on merit and performance, with transparent processes that ensure their contributions are recognised and their voices heard.

Over the years, Vietjet has been named a “Best Place to Work” multiple times in Vietnam and across Asia. It has also received leading industry accolades from organisations such as Skytrax, AirlineRatings, and World Travel Awards.

Vietjet’s growing global recognition reflects its expanding presence in key markets including India. The airline plays an important role in strengthening air connectivity between India and Vietnam, supporting tourism, trade, and cultural exchange. The airline currently operates direct flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru to Hanoi and/or Ho Chi Minh City. From Vietnam, passengers can conveniently connect to several destinations across the Asia-Pacific through Vietjet’s extensive flight network, offering greater connectivity and competitive fares.

Launched in 1992, the World HRD Congress ranks among the world's largest events on HR and professional development. It brings together senior leaders and experts from over 133 countries to network and celebrate organizations leading in people-focused strategies. Awards are judged by a panel of renowned international experts.
