Rajasthan DigiFest × TiE Global Hackathon Sees Nationwide Participation and Innovation at Scale

Today, Rajasthan reaffirmed its position as a rising national innovation hub with the launch of the Rajasthan DigiFest × TiE Global Hackathon, held at Vivekananda Global University (VGU), Jaipur, as part of Rajasthan DigiFest 2025 and aligned with the 10th TiE Global Summit.

The initiative is being led under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, reflecting the state’s strong commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and a future-ready startup ecosystem. As part of this effort, the winners of the Rajasthan DigiFest × TiE Global Hackathon will be supported through a comprehensive growth opportunity package, including attractive prize money, dedicated booth space at the TiE Global Summit 2026, access to potential investments from leading investors, and grant-based support to help scale their solutions further.

The national-level innovation challenge witnessed 700+ participants coming together from 54 cities across 12 States and Union Territories of India, making it one of the most diverse and large-scale hackathons hosted in the region.

The hackathon focused on solving critical challenges across key domains from Seven Govt Departments including Digital Agriculture & Farmer Support Ecosystems, Tourism, PHED and more leveraging technology, data, and innovation to build scalable, impact-driven solutions aligned with national priorities.

Speaking on the occasion, the organizers highlighted that the overwhelming participation reflects India’s growing appetite for grassroots innovation, youth-led problem-solving, and technology-driven development, especially from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.

The hackathon is powered by Reskilllas Hackathon Partner, with Vivekananda Global University (VGU) serving as the Venue Partner. The initiative received strong institutional support from the Department of Information Technology & Communication (DoIT&C), Government of Rajasthan, reinforcing the state’s commitment to nurturing innovation, startups, and future-ready talent.

With mentorship, jury interactions, and ecosystem exposure from leaders associated with TiE and Rajasthan DigiFest, the hackathon provided participants with a platform not only just to compete, but also to co-create solutions with real-world relevance.

The Rajasthan DigiFest × TiE Global Hackathon stands as a testament to Rajasthan’s vision of becoming a national destination for innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation.
