HDFC Mutual Fund Celebrates Doctors’ Day by Putting Doctors’ Financial Well-being in Focus with ‘WealthCare

Posted on July 4, 2026

As part of its ongoing WealthCare initiative, HDFC Mutual Fund is marking National Doctor’s Day with a focused Investor Education and Awareness Initiative, encouraging healthcare professionals to focus on their own financial well-being while continuing their commitment to patient care.

The initiative is inspired by a simple insight: doctors dedicate their lives to improving the health of others, often leaving their own aspirations and long-term financial planning on the backburner. The campaign features an emotionally driven digital film that turns the traditional doctor-patient dynamic around. Through messages from family members, friends, colleagues, and loved ones, the film highlights that those who care for everyone else also deserve to take time to plan for themselves.

The film introduces ‘WealthCare’, HDFC Mutual Fund’s Financial Health Diagnostic Platform, designed to help doctors evaluate their financial preparedness and take informed steps towards their financial goals. The platform enables healthcare professionals to assess their financial well-being, identify areas that may require attention, and access relevant investor education resources through a dedicated landing page. It aims to simplify the process of understanding one’s financial position, basis their risk appetite and encourage doctors to begin their investment journey with greater awareness.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Navneet Munot, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, HDFC Asset Management Company Limited, said, “Doctors devote their lives to the health and wellbeing of society, often putting their patients ahead of themselves. They know that lasting health is built through prevention and steady care. Financial wellbeing develops the same way, through awareness and informed decisions made consistently over time. With WealthCare, part of our Investor Education and Awareness efforts, we wanted to give something back to the medical community for their selfless service, offering doctors a simple place to begin planning for the future they have worked so hard to build.”

The initiative will be amplified through print advertising, digital outreach, social media engagement, influencer collaborations, online and offline Investor Awareness Programmes (IAPs) across HDFC Mutual Fund’s branch network, and personalised appreciation messages for doctors through employees and partners.

Through ‘WealthCare’, HDFC Mutual Fund continues its commitment towards investor education by using relatable storytelling to highlight the importance of financial awareness and informed investing.
