Continuous heavy rains over the past few days/weeks have led to a sharp rise in fever cases across the twin cities. Along with common viral fevers, cases of malaria, dengue, typhoid, and chikungunya are also being reported. Experts warn that rushing to the
pharmacy and using over-the-counter medications without medical advice can often be ineffective and, at times, dangerous.
