Anantha rehabilitation Centre to Address Critical Healthcare Gap in Hyderabad

Anantha Rehabilitation, Pain Management, and Transitional Care Centre is set to inaugurate on 29th January 2024, at 10.30 am, with Sri Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy leading the ceremony. The CEO of the Anantha and former Arogya Sri Trust head Dr. M. Chandrasheker, highlighted the pressing need for rehabilitation services in Hyderabad, where nearly one-third of the population requires such care, yet only 5,820 beds are currently available. Among the distinguished chief guests attending the inauguration are AIG chairman Dr. Nageshwar Reddy, KIMS MD Dr. Bhaskar Rao, KIMS-Sunshine MD Dr. Gurava Reddy, industrialist Sri Jupally Rameshwararao, MP Sri TG Venkatesh, and former minister Sri Puvvada Ajay Kumar,
Dr. Chandrasheker emphasized the comprehensive services offered by Anantha, including rehabilitation, transitional care, pain management, and palliative care. Critical Care Physicians and General Physicians will be available 24×7, treating infections in specialized positive and negative pressure rooms. The centre also boasts a team of 10 physiotherapists trained in cardiology, respiratory, sports medicine, neurosurgery, and orthopedics.
“Anantha is one of the largest rehabilitation center in South India, with 75 rooms and a team of dedicated specialists. Our goal is to provide holistic care, addressing both chronic and acute health issues,” explained Dr. Chandrasheker. The centre will offer personalized diet plans, backed by a dietician, catering to individual patient needs.

‘At Anantha, we have created state of the art infrastructure to provide best possible services for our in patients. We have best doctors from their respective fields to provide best medical care. The facility, equipped with 75 beds and backed by 125 staff including doctors and supporting staff specializing in various fields, aims to bridge the existing healthcare gap,’ said Dr. MS Anand Rao,  promoter of Anantha Rehabilitation center
The inauguration promises to be a significant event, with various acclaimed personalities from the medical and industrial sectors attending. Anantha Rehabilitation Centre is poised to make a substantial impact on healthcare accessibility in Hyderabad, offering state-of-the-art facilities and a team of experienced professionals to serve the community.

Anantha offers extensive pain management services including high end equipment like radio frequency ablation machines, C arm, ultrasound which can tackle chronic low back, knee and facial pains, complicated pains and cancer pains. Pain management department is managed by internationally qualified pain physician Dr. Anusha Karumuri (Msc pain management University of South Wales, European diploma of regional anesthesia and Indian pain medicine.)
 Anantha’s unique outpatient services offer all multi-specialty services.
