Ambuja Cements, the cement and building material company of the diversified Adani Portfolio, is enabling meaningful change in rural Maharashtra through access to skill training and employment. In Lakhmapur village, Pooja Ghodake, who came from a financially challenged family, enrolled in a General Duty Assistant course at the CSR funded Ambuja Skill & Entrepreneurship Development Institute (SEDI) implemented by Ambuja Foundation in Upparwahi and is now working as a caregiver at Ajicare Home Health Services in Mumbai.

From lacking confidence to now contributing significantly to her family's income, Pooja’s journey reflects the impact of structured, career-focused training. With an initial salary of ₹21,000—now increased to ₹25,000—she has become financially independent and is currently pursuing GNM to advance her career in healthcare.
