·         Second major recognition in 2025, following the GPTW Innovation Award earlier this year

Harrisons Malayalam Ltd. (HML), an RPG Group company and one of the largest plantation businesses in south India, has been ranked #21 in India’s Best Companies to Work For 2025 by the Great Place to Work® Institute.

This is HML’s second Great Place to Work® recognition this year, following the Innovation Award held earlier in 2025, which highlighted the organisation’s strong culture of innovation, trust, and employee empowerment. The company has also made a significant leap in rankings moving up 13 positions from last year’s 34th rank. Being named among the best workplaces for women by GPTW, late last year, has also been a matter of great pride for the company.

The results announced at the GPTW Awards in Mumbai followed a rigorous survey covering 1,751 companies, each with over 1,000 employees. The evaluation focused on trust, workplace culture, and people practices.

Cherian M George, Chief Executive – HML & Whole Time Director, said:
“It’s heartening to be recognised twice in one year by Great Place to Work. It reaffirms our commitment to nurturing a people-first culture. With the support of RPG Group, we continue to focus on employee well-being and engagement, and taking care of the community around us.”

HML, the  Kerala-based company has consistently featured in India’s Best Workplaces list by the Great Place to Work® Institute—a distinction it has held since 2014. It also remains the only representative from the Plantations sector to achieve this recognition. This continued acknowledgment highlights HML’s deep-rooted commitment to the RPG Group’s ‘Hello Happiness’ ethos, which fosters a happy, inclusive, and purpose-driven workplace that  empowers employees to bring their best version of themselves to work and helps them consistently deliver exceptional performance.
